Welcome Cougars!
I'm so excited to be back in the library with you for the 2024-25 school year!
So that you can get to know me better, here are five fun facts:
1. I'm married and have two kids. My son is a junior at Folsom High and my daughter is in college.
2. My favorite genre of books is historical fiction — made-up stories set in real places and time periods. I also love mysteries.
3. Before I became a librarian, I was a newspaper reporter and editor. I still write one or two stories a month for a local magazine.
4. My favorite thing to do in the TJE library is talk to students about books. My least favorite thing to do is fix books that are falling apart (the glue is pretty messy!).
5. My favorite color is teal, because it's such a happy color!
